Terms and Conditions for TravelGuide SouthAfrica, last updated: 15 August 2024. Welcome to TravelGuide SouthAfrica by booking a tour or service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

 1. Booking and Payment

1.1. To book a tour or service, a completed booking form and full payment of the booked tour is required before departure date for the booked tour.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

2.1. Cancellations made by the customer must be in writing and are subject to the following charges:

50% of the total cost if cancelled more than 30 days before departure.

0% of the total cost if cancelled 14days or less before departure.

2.2. No refunds will be given for no-shows or unused portions of the tour.

2.3. TravelGuide SouthAfrica reserves the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or alternative tour dates will be offered.

3. Changes to Booking

3.1. Any changes requested by the customer to their booking must be made in writing at least 5 days before the tour takes place and may incur additional charges.

3.2. TravelGuide SouthAfrica reserves the right to modify itineraries due to conditions such as weather, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

4. Travel Insurance

It is strongly recommended that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, health, accidents, and repatriation.

5. Health and Safety

5.1. Customers are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to participate in the tour.

 5.2. TravelGuide SouthAfrica is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during the tour.

6. Liability

6.1. TravelGuide SouthAfrica acts as an agent for the suppliers of tours, transportation, accommodations, and other services, and shall not be held liable for any delay, loss, damage, or injury.

6.2. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless TravelGuide SouthAfrica and its employees from any claims, demands, or actions arising from the tour.

7. Customer Responsibilities

7.1. Customers must follow the instructions of the tour guide and respect the customs and laws of South Africa.

7.2. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and other necessary travel documents.

8. Privacy Policy

8.1. TravelGuide SouthAfrica is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of arranging the tour.
