Overview

The tour begins with pickup from a designated meeting point in Cape Town. We will make our way to the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest colonial building in South Africa, where a guided tour will provide insights into its military history, architecture.. Following the Castle of Good Hope we will drive to the Company’s Garden, passing the historic City Hall and Grand Parade, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the tranquil gardens, exploring ponds and historical landmarks. At Company Gardens we will see the Iziko South African Museum located within the gardens to discover South Africa’s natural history and artistic heritage. The tour continues  with a walk to St. George’s Cathedral, a symbol of the anti-apartheid struggle, followed by a visit to a piece of the Berlin Wall, gifted to Nelson Mandela in 1996. The tour will end  in the vibrant Bo-Kaap neighbourhood, known for its colourful houses, to learn about the history and culture of the Cape Malay community. Finally, the tour concludes with a return to the meeting point.

Day 01 Cape Town City Tour

08:00 AM - Departure from Starting Point

08:30 AM - Visit to the Castle of Good Hope
