Overview
This three-day tour explores the stunning Overberg region along the renowned Route 62, known as the longest wine route in the world.
- Day 1: Begin the journey from Cape Town, travelling through scenic towns such as Worcester, Robertson, Montagu, Barrydale, and Calitzdorp. Enjoy lunch at Barrydale before continuing to Oudtshoorn.
- Day 2:
- Option 1: Visit the Cango Caves, Africa’s largest show cave system, followed by a drive through the picturesque Swartberg Pass to Prince Albert for lunch and wine tasting.
- Option 2: Visit the Cango Caves and an ostrich farm, followed by a trip to Rust-en-Vrede Waterfall for a short trail walk and a picnic.
- Day 3: After breakfast, return to Cape Town via Route 62, stopping for lunch and wine tasting in Robertson. The journey concludes with a scenic drive through Cogman’s Kloof Pass, ending in the vibrant city of Cape Town.
